It is okay to say "NO!"

Do you allow yourself to tell others "No" or do you step up every single time even when it is draining you physically and emotionally?

When we are living with pain on a daily basis saying "no" to people might just help us more than you can imagine. There is only so much we can take while pretending to be okay or putting on a happy face before we explode.

We have to be honest with ourselves before we can be honest with others about our pain. We can't expect people to understand why it might be hard for us to take on another responsibility if we are not able to be honest with ourselves about it first. For instance, if your friend asks if you can watch one of their kiddos on a daily basis but you are barely able to take care of your own on bad days why would you do that to yourself and the kids? Some days can be a struggle just to keep our head above water and those are the days that we need to be able to say "no." When we stay in the state of mind that it is our responsibility to keep everyone else happy we will never be able to regain our strength. Once we are honest with ourselves and identify our limitations, even if only temporary, your will find strength that you were unaware of. Our friends and loved ones will then begin to understand that we may not be able to do everything that we want to do or participate in events that we once use to and that is OKAY!

For those of us that have gotten to the point of finally putting your own health first , congratulations! For those of us that still are struggling to do this then we need to examine why this is important. Ask yourself this...

1. How can you get well if you are never the priority?

2. If not you, who will take care of you?

3. Can you truly be the best you can be in your life without taking care of yourself first?

4. What is holding you back from taking back control?

5. What would happen if you told someone "no?" Be honest here!

Now if you are having a hard time even answering these questions then it is time to look into energy coaching. Together we can breakthrough the blocks that are holding you back.

You have already taken that step toward regaining your power, now lets take it one step further and work together using energy coaching to clear the path to recovery and healing.
